4. THE DEVIL DOESN’T LIE
In almost every version of Lucifer that we have seen in the books or on the big screen, the devil is depicted as a malevolent and manipulative entity, he lies effortlessly, or at times bends the words to trick people. That’s why he is the devil. Even Lucifer Morningstar has been given the moniker of Prince of Lies, King of Lies, but in reality this devil never lies. The character’s refusal to lie is central to his moral position, he views himself a neutral character. It is a kind of rule that he has made for himself, he understands the consequence of lying so therefore he never engages in it.
3. RELATIONSHIP CHANGED HIM
Throughout the show, we have seen Lucifer telling people to embrace their hidden desires. In an episode where a woman confesses her attraction to her husband’s driver, he kinda supports it, implying he supports adultery. Also, in Season 4, it is confirmed that Lucifer and Eve share an open relationship as they are present with multiple partners. He kissed another woman right in front of Eve in an episode. He also doesn’t care about his preferences or his partners being involved in other relationships. However, when he becomes attached to Chloe, he stops intruding the lives of others. Lucifer starts to grow mature and stops chasing other women, he stopped his flirting and focused solely on Chloe.
2. HIS TRUE POWERS
Throughout the show, we have seen various different powers and abilities of Lucifer. He is master of combat, we have seen him taking on experienced fighters with ease. And he could easily defeat his fellow archangels in a fight. He also managed to assemble and wield the Flaming Sword on two different occasions. But perhaps his best known ability is manipulating people without using lies. He uses the desires and needs of people to make them act. He could use words to torture any person with their own guilt.
With his interactions and experiences with Chloe, he also became quite a talented detective, he managed to track down the kidnapped Chloe using small clues. Lucifer can speak literally all the languages known to the humans. He is also quite a showman, he could get in and out of closed spaces with ease, displaying his prowess of escapism. But there are more to his powers that were not explored on the show due to budget and timings constraint. If you remember in Season 1, when he yelled in rage at the killer of the priest, loud thunder was heard which was an indication of his powers
1. A PART OF HISTORY!
Lucifer once implied that he was responsible for creating the stars out of the primordial gas which was born out of the Big Bang explosion. He also claimed to been the burning bush that was encountered by Moses. Lucifer has existed before humanity was born, his role in history is significant. He has interacted with numerous historical significant people as he has mentioned several times about his interactions. He claimed to have taught Elton John to play piano. Lucifer also claims to have flipped Oscar Wilde whom he met back in the day.
