5. KLAUS & HAYLEY
Klaus and Hayley shared a bond of friendship. Even though they didn’t share a romantic relationship, they stayed together under the same roof for the sake of their daughter Hope, to raise her well and protect her. Both come from different werewolf bloodlines. Both never had protective parents as Hayley was orphaned and her adoptive parents disowned her after learning her true identity Klaus’ father Mikael punished him while his mother never intervened. They shared great chemistry and were always there to support each other. Hayley didn’t a word of what Mikael said about Klaus, Klaus protected Hayley from his mother Esther. When Klaus lost Cami, Hayley comforted him and when Hayley was shooked up after seeing the monstrous Elijah, Klaus offered her advice. In Season 2, Klaus was the one who helped Hayley adjust to the life of a Hybrid. When Hayley met her demise in Season 5, Klaus was devastated as he really loved Hayley in his own way. 4. ELIJAH & HAYLEY
While Hayley & Elijah is one of the most shipped relationships in the TVD Universe. But did you know at the beginning Daniel Gillies who played Elijah wasn’t much thrilled about the relationship and labeled it as the ‘Forbidden Fruit’. He was not much thrilled as the theme of a love triangle was already done in TVD so repeating the same with Klaus/Hayley/Elijah. He believed that Originals should be something unique and not just the same exact as TVD. It was a relationship that was meant to be doomed right from the beginning.
