Another popular actress who rose to great heights of fame as a child actress especially for the role of Regan in the Exorcist films. She appeared in second season episode ‘The Usual Suspects’ playing the role of a detective who is investigating a series of demises that turn out to be due to a vengeful spirit. Eventually, Winchesters managed to save the day and it didn’t stop them from making Exorcist references that only the clever viewers understood.

Linda Blair is the only horror icon to grace the show with her presence. The list also includes Robert Englund who is known for playing the unforgettable Freddy Krueger in the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ horror franchise. He played the short role of a doctor, an old friend of John Winchester who helps Dean in stopping his heart temporarily so he could communicate with the Death on the other side. WWE Wrestler ‘The Miz’ who apart from being a WWE Superstar is also an actor and has made appearances in a couple of TV shows and films. He appeared in Season 11 episode ‘Beyond The Mat’, where the Winchesters investigate the demise of their favorite wrestler from the childhood. Interestingly, the title of this episode also makes a reference to the 90s documentary of the same name that revealed the darker realities of the wrestling life.
While many of these famous actors and celebrities had only a one time appearance on the show, but Lauren Cohan is one of the few recurring stars on the show. She has worked on shows such as Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and The Walking Dead. She appeared in Season 3 playing the recurring role of a hunter named Bela who made a deal with a demon and later we learn that the white-eyed demon Lilith holds her deal. Bela’s character was written off after she met backlash from the fans who complained of her constant run-in and overshadowing the Winchesters in nearly every other episode.
