Welcome back to Humor Nation. The fourth Season of Riverdale saw Archie Andrews trying to live up to his father’s memory by trying to make a change in the town. With the help of Mad Dog and Reggie, Archie starts mentoring the youths at his Community Center. Betty Cooper joins the FBI training program of his brother Charles and she starts assisting her in different cases. Whereas Jughead Jones takes admission in the Stonewall Prep. This boarding school is famous for the ‘Baxter Brothers’ book series written by Francis under the pseudonym of Franklin P. Paxton. It was later revealed that he had instructed the members of the Quill and Skull society to kill Jughead. Jughead also discovers that the idea for the Baxter Brothers novels came from his grandfather Forsythe Pendleton Jones which Francis stole from him and other students.
In Season 4, we are introduced to various new characters. Bret Wallis, a competitive student at Stonewall Prep who targeted Jughead right from the moment Juggy joined the Stonewall Prep. He even plotted the murder of Jughead, but their plan failed. Ultimately, he went to prison, from there he informed Betty and Jughead about the Auteur before he was killed.
The Auteur served as the main villain of Season 4. At first, it appeared to be just someone recording the residences of Riverdale, but it soon re-enacting the gruesome crimes that happened in Riverdale. Betty and Jughead were convinced that Charles was the Auteur. But after confronting him, Jughead realizes there’s one other person who has access to all the information such as Jughead’s story of ‘Killing Mr. Honey’. When they confront the Jellybean, she admits it. Jellybean did it t convince Jughead to stay in Riverdale as this mystery would keep them busy,
