Welcome back to Humor Nation. The finale episode number 10 of Season 4 which has been released on Netflix is ‘Who’s Da New King Of Hell?’. There was plenty of hype regarding this season as WB FOX canceled the show which led to a huge fan movement online prompting NETFLIX to pick up this show. Netflix offered plenty of creative liberty to the show creators with an extended budget which could be easily observed in terms of the visual effects of this season. Season 4 is also far mature in terms of storylines and there are numerous other differences which are pretty evident. This season deals with Chloe coming to terms with the real identity of Lucifer. After witnessing his devil face, she understood that Lucifer was telling the truth all this time, he is in fact the devil.
At first, Chloe takes this news in the worst way possible. She leaves the city and tries to come to terms with this revelation. But she is manipulated by Father Kinley who taps into her fears to kill Lucifer. Ultimately, Chloe and Lucifer settle all their misunderstandings and Kinley’s plan is foiled. However, the chaotic action of Eve causes the death of Kinley who is destined to hell where a demon named Dromos gets a hold of him and possesses his body. Dromos arrives on earth asking Lucifer to return with him, but Lucifer angrily warns him to return to hell.
Season 4 saw Lucifer going to hell to regain the control as its warden and not let any other demon walk the earth. He bids Chloe goodbye. In Season 5, Lucifer would make his return when his twin brother Michael starts causing all sorts of troubles. Michael would manipulate everyone by tapping into their fears. The finale episode witnessed a showdown between the angel brothers, but they are interrupted by their father God. God would try to make up with Lucifer for abandoning him all these years. There’s a conflict at first, but they ultimately reconcile. God would shock everyone by telling them that he’s retiring.
The finale of Season 5 would see Lucifer and Michael battling it out for the position of next God. Lucifer would have Maze, Demons, and Chloe on his side, apart from his brothers. Whereas Michael had an army of the angels.
