Archie Andrews is the most popular comic book characters of all time. KJ Apa has done an amazing job in portraying the character. He studied at the Riverdale High School, he has brilliant musical talent and at point it seemed like he could make a successful career in the football, but he surprised everyone by choosing to join the army. Archie Andrews is a kind, caring, morally right and honest character. He’d do anything for his friends and family and seeing them in agony puts him in pain too. Archie could be naive at times as he sees the good in everyone and this is why people often have taken advantage of him.

He has been best friends with Betty and Jughead since they were kids. Betty Cooper, his next door neighbor has been in love with him since they were kids, but was too shy to admit her crush for him. However, when she ended up revealing it, Archie didn’t reciprocate and that made things awkward for a while. At the same time, a new girl Veronica Lodge arrives in the town and Archie feels attracted to her. They soon develop a romantic relationship. Betty who has decided to remain friends with Archie finds comfort in Jughead and they two start dating.
Over the course of five seasons, Archie has been involved in romantic relationship with numerous different characters. In the first season when the show began, we find out that Archie and his music teacher Geraldine Grundy had an affair during the 2017 Summer. They kept their affair going until it was found by Alice who informed it to Fred, and they both were forced to break up. Season 5 will return soon and it would be interesting to see if Archie and Betty reveal about their hookup.
