4. Elijah
He is the first Original we were introduced to in the Vampire Diaries. Elijah introduced us to the the most powerful vampires in existence, the Originals. Damon staked Elijah only to find out that it doesn’t work on an Original, he is almost unkillable, an immortal being. We have seen him take down 100 of the New Orleans Vampires without breaking a sweat and messing up the crease of his suit. He is pretty powerful and perhaps the only sibling who can hold his ground in a fight against Klaus. Elijah is calm, cool, and collected and doesn’t let his emotions affect his judgement. But his kindness and mercy also provided to be his flaws at times.
3. Klaus
Out of all the Mikaelsons, with the exception of Mikael, the most ruthless and powerful Original is Klaus. The only Mikaelson sibling who can hold his ground against the daddy Mikaelson in a fight. He has killed his mother, daggered his siblings many times, and even managed to kill his father twice. His childhood was traumatic as he was abused by his father who considered him to be weak and pathetic. This resulted in him growing aggressive and ruthless. His werewolf side has given him additional abilities and powers over his siblings. He is the first Original Hybrid in existence. He is an expert fighter and a skilled swordsman. His biggest strength is his intellect.
2. Mikael
The Papa Mikaelson! He is the father of all the vampires. It was Mikael’s idea to turn himself and his kids into vampires to fight the werewolves.The reason why the Mikaelson siblings were on the run for over 1000 years. He wanted to kill Klaus whom he holds reponsible for the murder of his wife Esther. If it wasn’t for Davina, he would have killed Elijah easily. Not just Elijah, he also staked and nearly killed Klaus if it weren’t for the allies of Klaus who saved him. Mikael nearly killed Katherine and teared into Damon’s chest and almost ripped his heart out. This proves that he is more powerful and faster than an Original vampire.
1. Hope
She is the first tribrid in existence, making her the most powerful Mikaelson on the list. She has the powers and abilities of three supernatural species – a vampire, a witch, and a werewolf. The true nature and full extent of her powers are not known currently. As she grew older, she learned to control her magic and became stronger. Her magic was also amplified by the Hollow. She is a witch of the Mikaelson bloodline which makes her one of the most powerful witches in the Universe. Her vampire side is also that of an Original which makes her much more powerful than an average vampire and even invincible. And speaking of her werewolf side, she has that of an alpha werewolf.
