Welcome back to Humor Nation. Riverdale is the dark TV adaptation of the popular Archie comics. The show is a serious take on the town of Riverdale which is full of secrets and scandals. The town is full of gangs, mobsters, drug dealers, and all sorts of criminals. Murder and violence is every day’s thing in this dark town. But despite of being in the midst of chaos and violence, the residents of Riverdale manage to find love and romance, this applies not just to the teenagers, but adults too. The fans are pretty passionate when it comes to love and romance, they are very invested in the relationships between the characters that they have come up with ship names for the couples such as ‘Varchie’ and ‘Bughead’, joining the names of the two characters involved. Bughead represents the couple of Betty and Jughead.

Over the course of five seasons, we have witnessed numerous relationships, while some lasted for a brief moment, some have stood the test of time. The relationship with Jughead and Betty Cooper has become one of the most popular and fan favorite ships on the show. Though many fans wanted Betty to be with Archie just like in the comics, but this pairing surprised us all, and it’s amazing how perfectly they fit together. Even though being in Jughead’s vicinity brought out the darkness in Betty.
