Kol Mikaelson has earned the reputation for being the wild one, the black sheep of the Mikaelson family. He doesn’t like following rules or being told what to do. Interestingly, he is more unpredictable than Klaus Mikaelson and at times considered to be the most chaotic brother. He has been spiteful of his family who made wrong decisions over centuries, never took him seriously or listened to him. He is spiteful that Klaus and the family gave more attention to Marcel over him. This insecurity caused him to behave in the violent ways which created legends about him.

Finn Mikaelson, the outcast of the family, compared to other siblings, he was much closer to this mother whom he considered to be always right. In the Vampire Diaries, he joined forces with his mother to kill his siblings. It’s because of his such actions that his siblings hated him and kept him daggered for over 900 years.
Finn when reunited with his lover Sage experienced a change of heart, but it was too late as he was killed by the Mystic Falls gang. In Originals, he became a villain when he was placed in the body of witch Vincent. He made efforts to kill Hope Mikaelson, destroy the peace and balance between different factions of the New Orleans. He would eventually be placed in Freya’s pendant to prevent him from doing any more harm to the Mikaelsons. Freya would then resurrect him in his Original way in order to repair their dysfunctional family. Finn expressed his discontentment with the family as how they kept him daggered, he was forgotten by them.
Finn would redeem himself when he saved Freya from Lucien. Lucien abducted Freya and turned himself into Upgraded Original using her blood. In saving Freya, Finn received a deadly bite which killed him. In his last moments, he was surrounded by his siblings and for once he found peace.
