Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley played the role of the Salvatore brothers on the screen. The brothers were once besties, but then were separated when a girl came in between them. However, they would improve their relationship in the later seasons. The actors are close to brothers in their real life. The duo even launched a whiskey brand together named Brother’s Bond which is doing a tremendous business all over the world.

4. NINA DOBREV AND PAUL WESLEY
They both have played a couple on the screen, the chemistry between Stefan Salvatore and Elena Gilbert was undeniable, and many believed it to be the endgame. But despite having such a sizzling on-screen chemistry, you’d be surprised to know these two didn’t get alog during the first five months of the production of the first season. There was a sort of tension and things didn’t click. However, as the time passed, they moved passed their issues and ended up becoming close friends. 3. KAT GRAHAM AND IAN SOMERHALDER
While the characters of Bonnie and Damon became during the later seasons, but at first they shared a disliked for each other especially Bonnie who didn’t like Damon at all. However, their time during the initial filming, Kat didn’t have to act while expressing the emotions of Bonnie towards Damon. But times did change and they developed quite a friendship. The actress revealed in an interview that Ian helped her in finding herself, cites him as one of her greatest inspirations. In an interview in 2014, she revealed that Ian is her best friend among the TVD cast members.
