The presence of certain characters could change everything. Originals had its fair share of losing characters, writing them off in unexpected and surprising ways. While the loss of many characters didn’t matter much, but some characters were very significant. Imagine what if Cami was still alive! She could have definitely helped Klaus dealing with his demons when he had the Hollow’s dark soul inside him. Cami would have also served as a great counsel to Klaus, being his conscience, telling him the right thing to do. Another character who deserved to be alive is Hayley. She was needed to be there with the Hope, Hayley was raised as an Orphan and in the end, her precious little girl also met the same fate.

2. WHAT IF FREYA WAS NEVER TAKEN AWAY BY DAHLIA
In Season 2 of the Originals we were introduced to the character of Freya Mikaelson, the first born child of Esther & Mikael. We learn that Esther was unable to conceive therefore she sought the help of her sister Dahlia, a powerful witch. Dahlia’s spell resulted in Esther having children, but the spell came with a price. The price was Dahlia having the right over the first born child of every generation of the Mikaelson Family. If Dahlia had never taken away Freya then Mikael would have never turned into a harsh and broken man. He would have been compassionate and caring towards all their children. He would be providing a healthy environment to his children and as a result, Klaus would have never turned into a monster. Had Klaus turned out differently then it could have significantly altered the most important events of the Vampire Diaries.
1. WHAT IF ELIJAH HAD TAKEN THE PLACE OF KLAUS
After Hope completes her first werewolf transformation, Klaus with the help of the Saltzman twins siphoned the Hollow’s dark magical soul from Hope and absorbed all of it. He stored a White Oak which he intended to use on himself to finally end the Hollow. To reduce the effect of the dark magic, Freya transfers a portion of the Hollow’s dark soul inside Elijah so Klaus could bid goodbye to his family and celebrate his final day. But what if Klaus had let Elijah take the entire Hollow’s soul, he would have been alive.
