The progenitor of the Salvatore bloodline, he tricked Qetsiyah in creating the immortality elixir which made him the first immortal being in the TVD Universe. He did it all to be with his love Amara. Silas is an extremely powerful witch who can create illusions and play with the minds of others. Silas can make a person see or hear whatever he wants, he is a master manipulator who knows how to use the fears, doubts, and anxieties of the people against them. He was easily able to bring the Original Hybrid Klaus to his knees with his magical prowess. And let’s not forget his ability to shapeshift into literally any person. Undoubtedly, the character of Silas had so much potential, he was hyped up greatly, but the writers definitely failed to deliver. Many consider the storylines consisting Silas to be pretty dull.
Qetsiyah is the probably the most well known witch. She is mainly responsible for the birth of the birth of the Salvatore & Petrova bloodlines. She is the one who created the immortality spell for her lover Silas who betrayed her. Qetsiyah then created the cure for the immortality and sealed it along with Silas in a tomb. She is also responsible for the creation of the Other Side to which she made Amara as the anchor, as a sort of punishment. If it wasn’t for her, we would never have the doppelgangers, the entire TVD story would have never taken place. She played a significant role directly or indirectly in all the major events that have taken place in the TVD Universe. Many consider her to be as powerful as Dahlia and Hollow.
Dahlia was the big baddie of Season 2 of the Originals. She is listed among the top three greatest witches in the TVD Universe. Dahlia was born to a powerful witch bloodline where the first-born possess great magical potential. She was the one who granted children to Esther with her fertility spell. After she took Freya under her wing, she linked herself with Freya and placed them both under a century long slumber which granted them immense power. Despite being trapped in a boundary spell, she was able to damage and weaken Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and Freya all at once. If it wasn’t for her love for Esther, she could have easily killed the Mikaelson Family.
